Welcome to the official home of MotorSport NZ's National Hillclimb Championship.

Here you will find information on the dates, venues and regulations for the championship.

The championship consists of two qualifying weekends in both islands; one day on tarmac and one on gravel. Competitors use the same car to compete on both surfaces however more than one competitor may use the same car.

The championship final round will follow the same format as the qualifiers with one day on tarmac and one on gravel.  It will alternate between the two islands each year and will be held in the opposite island to the ClubSport Championships each year.
